in front of me there's jing hui and angela and behind me yanhan and pris! hahs. cant believe they are sitting next to each other.lucky girls. (:

kept turning behind to ask quesitons.

the class outing this sat postponed to sept hols thursday.

19th august. yesterday - clique outing

celebrate millie's birthday!

hahs. met at commonwealth mrt. reach there early at 11:45. hahs. millie and zn came. waited for eileen cause she had to go for checkup for OBS. very fit leh. hahs. xian mu. cj said she would meet us later. went to marina square so eileen could get her newbie membership card. ate at the food court. shared curry chicken noodle and almond longan with millie. :D
shopped around while waiting for cj.

later they went to library while i went home.

16 august. wednesday - MILLIE'S BIRTHDAY!!

rushed home to get the card with jaclyn. hahs. jaclyn' s a kind soul.
choir. recorded the song for mrs chen. and did the card. 1/3 way thru.

hahs. had a sudden inspiration on doing basic hawker centre manners. apologise if im copying anyone who also did this. hahs.


the 101 on eating at hawker centres

DO

- ask (if there is someone seating there) whether there the seat is available. DO NOT assume
that the seat is empty.

- say "thank you" when served your food. likewise, say a "thank you" when the tables is cleared. to show that you appreciate their effort in making your hawker centre meal an enjoyable one.

-try to avoid making a mess of the table, and place your cutlury nicely after eating.

-be patient. whether its having your table cleared, waiting for you food to be served etc.

lastly.
- enjoy your meal! (:


DO NOT

- stand in front of a stall, debating on what to eat and after 5 mins of debating, decide not
to purchase from that stall at all.

- keep asking the hawker if "your food is ready". you might not be the only customer. so be patient. if after a 10 mins wait . i suppose its ok to just remind them.

- feel obliged to buy something if you are appraoched by a stallholder.
just remember to say a polite " no thanks". that way, you won't offend the stallholder and
you won't have to eat/drink something you do not wish to.

- mix all your remnants of your meal.
eg: mee pok gan oil + fish soup + chilli sauce + leftover chicken skin + atap chee from your ice
kacang.
ok. so im guilty of that sometimes. hahs. anyway, you wouldn't want your next bowl of fish beehoon soup to taste like (previous eater's "concotion") .

yesterday went bugis with millie, zhengning, huiyi, shihui, eileen and jingmin.
to celebrate shihui's birthday! (:

arrived early at commonwealth mrt at 11:05 with huiyi.
im bad at estimating time. better to be early than late. hahs
ate at the yoshinoya.
first time eating there. hahs.
chose salmon bento with garlic rice. awsomely yummy! (:

left my file AND pencil box in the ava room
hoping no one will steal it.
heard that in jc they steal notes (??)

piano exam in : 13 hours 10 min...
13 hours 9 min....

and im still sitting here blogging. lol.

gotta study for maths test and piano.. hahs
